Arrive in Sarajevo and transfer to the hotel in the city centre. The afternoon remains relaxed for arrivals before the group meets for the official welcome dinner. Spend the evening walking through Baščaršija and discovering the city's blend of Ottoman, Austro Hungarian, Yugoslav and modern influences.

Spend a full day understanding Sarajevo. Explore Baščaršija, Gazi Husrev Beg Mosque, Latin Bridge, the old bazaar and the city's religious quarters. The afternoon focuses on the Bosnian War and the Siege of Sarajevo, including the Tunnel of Hope and important locations around the city. Finish with Bosnian coffee and a traditional dinner.

Leave Sarajevo and travel into the mountains. Hike toward Lukomir, one of Bosnia's highest traditional villages. Spend the afternoon hiking through the landscapes around Bjelašnica before returning to Sarajevo.

Travel toward Konjic and explore its old Ottoman centre before taking to the Neretva River for a rafting experience through the canyon. Enjoy time on the river, swimming where conditions allow, and lunch beside the water before continuing to accommodation around Konjic.

Begin with a visit to ARK D 0, commonly known as Tito's nuclear bunker, a secret Cold War complex built to protect Yugoslav leadership in the event of nuclear attack. Continue south through the Neretva Canyon toward Mostar. Arrive later in the afternoon and explore the Old Town and Stari Most in the evening light.

Start early and travel to Blagaj, where the Buna River emerges beneath a dramatic limestone cliff. Visit the historic Dervish monastery before continuing to the fortified village of Počitelj.
